Mahillon French-system bassoon for sale.
The Mahillon workshop was founded in 1813 in Brussels. The company stopped trading in 1922, and it is difficult to pinpoint when in the timeline this particular bassoon was manufactured (1).
The 'London' stamping is likely to refer to their London dealer rather than the bassoon being made in London.
This is a 19 key bassoon. It does not have a case or crook, but we can provide a gig bag at additional cost.
